I am a little lost.....

Yea, weird for me saying this. I am a bit lost now, searching for the 'me' that is drifting to else where and I am trying to get that 'me' back as soon as possible. You might which 'me' am I talking about now. Well, I am referring to the 'me', back during NS.

That 'me' includes being :-
*quite confident
*quite easily accepted by others
*sporting
*forever willing

I lost some of these things during my stay here in Sunway and gradually turning back into the very, with the capital V, passive and cold Teh Tat Yang. I don't want that, I'd left that heavy shell behind and I don't wanna be inside it anymore. Something within me is changing, at quite a fast rate. The most obvious is my self confidence, being once an emcee and even a 'Ketua Kompeni', I would getting very nervous before an orral presentation....come on, i spoken in front of a crowd the size of 400++ and now a presentation got the better of me. Something definately is wrong somewhere. But, luckilly as for today, i felt a little more of the 'me' in me. I wasn't really nervous about the group presentation (maybe due to the fact that its in a group, i hope not) and was quite ready but just to get our group's presentation postponed. Great huh....now i would need to reset my mental state for tomorrow.

Besides, I am getting very passive recently, during my Junior Leadership's meeting, I hardly spoken, whats wrong with me? Back in camp, I used to lead in my company's meeting and now I am merely listening with not much thought in my mind. Where are you? I really need you back inside me now, I had enough of being a spectator long enough back in high school.

Guess, one song can really help drive me towards getting myself back. Angra's - "Rebirth". Think I'll sing or shout it out with much passion, think that is what i need now, to release what is within me. *sigh*....come back.

Angra - Rebirth

Cooling breeze from a summer day
Hearing echoes from your heart
Learning how to recompose the words
Let time just fly

Joyful sea-gulls roaming on the shore
Not a single note would sound
Raise my hand after i dry my face
Let time just fly

Recalling, retreating
Returning, retrieving
A small talk your missing
More clever but older now

A leader, a learner
A lawful beginner
A lodger of lunacy
So lucid in a jungle
A helper, a sinner
A scarecrow's agonyzing smile

Oh! Minutes go round and round
Inside my head
Oh! My chest will now explode
Falling into pieces
Rain breaks on the ground-blood!

One minute forever
A sinner regretting
My vulgar misery ends

(And I) Ride the winds of a brand new day
High where mountain's stand
Found my hope and pride again
Rebirth of a man

Time to fly.....

End of holidays = start of schooling

Well, the one week long holiday is now behind me. A few things happened during that period of time. As mentioned before, the olympics. Besides, the gathering was finally held!!!! Finally got to meet my friends and met some others who were happened to be there as well. Well, something happened to me that day at Midvalley, more specific, at MPH. If you ever been there, then you might know that they do sale those thingie inside a tape like cover, and no chairs are provided!!! Thats the beginning of disaster, Azizan and I was walking around in MPH and went to check out the language department. While reading the books there, we decided to squat down. Guess what, my ass caught one of the tapes on my way down. Yea, there goes my ass.....but whats worse is it 'gifted' one of my favourite pants an extra little hole T.T....just my luck.

One thing about the gathering worth mentioning is that, the next one wont be at Midvalley anymore....cause, there isn't much to be done there. So, next stop shall be Sunway Pyramid!!!hehe, nearer to my area this time. WOOOT!!!

August 25th, my brother's birthday, but he brought me and his girlfriend out for dinner on the 24th. Had our dinner at UNO Pizza, an Italian restaurant. The food served there are nice, its quite safe to even add a very in front, depending on what you are having. However, the pizza there, are the traditional Italian's type, so, with Pizza Hut around, go for Pizza Hut. BUT, the pasta there are top class. You can consider ordering the 'baked pasta' or even the 'garlic prawn'....*drool*

It was just yesterday, that I finally let out what had been inside me for quite some time. Well, the result was quite clear and higher chance in expecting, but, i stand by the phrase ''you'll never know if you never try". So,yea, i gave it a shot. Everything became clear in the end. Thats at least a major plus. Will keep the details to myself.

Posting

Been kinda lazy lately, updating my blog, but since I'd started this, might as well stick with it i say so that is why I am here, to keep my blog alive. A lot had happened when i was away. Now, i am having my break, its only for a week but before that, we had our interim marks for CIMP. I took three subjects for naturally will get three grades. I got an A for my maths, a even better A for my english but i scored a D!!! yes, a D for my accounting.....but one a brighter note, its out of 18, the total mark where only 1 or 2 marks can determine a totally different grade, i did quite well for all the quizzes but failed to excel on my assignments. I guess that pull me down big time. Gotta work harder from now onwards!!!!

Besides, its our own Lee Chong Wei reaching the finals in the Olympics. Although he lost, quite badly too, but we still support him. It is notable that he was a little more tired compare to Lin Dan after the 3 set battle against the korean. Eventhough the lost was expected by many, but throughout the match, i kept believing for some reason that a miracle may happen but it wasn't meant to be. Very dissapointed after the match but i don't blame him one bit, unlike when Arsenal played a bad match, i'll be screaming :p. It kinda affected my mood though, guess being too passionate isn't all that nice? Just my view....

Well, its better late than never, I'd always held to that principle, but not all approve of my way of running things, but, the long anticipated gathering is finally coming!! WOOT! Its going to be on the 23rd, at Midvalley, around lunch time. Finally, get to see my 'long lost pal' :p, Azizan. Can't wait!!!

Its been a while but I am back

Hey,long time no see :p. Haven't been updating my blog for a while now so i guess will post something here then, since i am quite free now before going into 'homework mode' later tonight. The two major events organized by the student council are finally over and with great success too, we juniors were lucky to witness such big event despite being so 'fresh'. Life is gradually becoming a roller-coaster ride nowadays in my studies, one day everything can seem to go all so well then the next day can just be like hell.

A random photo, wanted to try out my camera (phone's) so i went to do an experiment and the following is the result :-

*not bad eh, never thought it would turn out like this, looks kinda like Harry Potter with his wand casting 'LUMOS'

THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CARNIVAL :- Cultural Night

Yes, the name says it all does it? An event, hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and co-hosted by Sunway University College, where international students are given a chance to shine in their respective field and culture. The event fell on the 8th(olympics) and the 9th of August. On the 8th, was the Sports Carnival, our very own olympics but i have no pictures taken as it was quite a busy day but all was fun =). While, on the 9th, the highlight of this event was as suggested by its title, held at night with the deputy minister and Sunway's Big Boss himself were present so you can start imagining how big it was, and how much hard work to event make this event happen. It was a journey around the world, witnessing people of different culture, proudly showing how they celebrate, from India to Iran to Indonesia to China to Bostwana and even foreigners performing our local dance. In short, you name it, we got it.

Into the ' Gear 2' Phase....

Finally, I'd reach the 'Gear 2' Phase in CIMP, only for my accounting at the moment for the month of August. The work load, assignments, quizzes and test have all increased. Well, for the month of August, I'll have to complete two assignments, sit for a quiz and a test on chapter 1,2 and 3, great huh? Considering that I am still having troubles with my chapter 3. Yet, my lecturer was saying that this month is only the 2nd gear, next month shall be the 4th gear....OMG!!!!! Have to complete more than these which is 'life consuming', the term my friend used...but, there are something to look forward to for this month. Alicia had arrived in KL, so, gonna plan a meeting with Azizan. 2nd, Abbas is coming to town, so another gathering there in the making, maybe will combine the two gatherings into one. 3rd, i got a week of holidays!!!! wooooot!!! from the 18th to the 22th, which also means, any date that the gathering shall be postponed, no problemo!

What a day...

*phew*...Just came out from my BAT4M class, super early today so i just wanna keep my blog from dying, so will write something about today. Had two quizzes today and still have ENG4C class to come, but luckilly no quiz for today. I heard its on Thursday which means its the same day as the MDM quiz...i also had one today for MDM and i did ok, while for BAT, i did pretty well too although i am not very confident with the Part A but Part B i manage to do it correctly as my answer was the same as others =). Two quizzes done and one more class to go and i can relax for the day as there aren't any homework...yet, but will need to do some revision and prepare for BAT tomorrow!!!

Trip to MMU :-

Last Saturday, along with the 'Junior Leadership Programme', i had an outing to Multimedia University(MMU), Cyber Jaya campus. Went to the foyer quite early that morning and the campus was quite empty, only with those i think that are having saturday classes. So i sat down, near Bryan, also in the JLP, which i din't know at that time. He was reading the book of the ways of running a business and being a millioniare while i was indulged in my MP3. Then, Veronica came along and asked whether the both of us are in the JLP, that was how we knew each other and started chatting and gradually, the other members arrived and we all introduced ourselves. It was supposed to be 10 of us, but only 8,including me were present that day.

Kelvin and I - CIMP
Veronica - CAT
Bryan, Cecilia, Sharon - ACCA
John and Jonathan - A Levels

Then as we waited for Ken, we saw Jackson and some other councils and went over, chatted and some bonding. Finally, Ken arrived so did the bus, Sunway doesn't own a bus by the way =.=, and it was a school bus with Taylor's sign in front.....Great huh. We hopped on and off we went to MMU. Ken did some briefing in the bus on the things we need to look out for during the event later and Jackson gave us the 'heads up' that we'll need to prepare a report on the trip.

We, reached MMU rather early so Ken brought us around the campus as he was an ex-student there himself, and we headed to the cafeteria, Ken was obviously very~ hungry as the 1st time he did was filled up his plate while telling us to sit anywhere we like or can go walk around. After that, we continued with the walk and MMU is like a sports arena, two outdoor futsal field, one 8 lane swimming pool, a squash stadium and not to mention a 8 lane running track with a football field...Ouch, thats awesome!!! Then, we went to the majestic hall that was just built not long ago, its like a theater with the VIP section on the 2nd floor and 8 badminton court with more than enough space to fit in 4 more, the stage was gigantic too but the speeches up ahead kills everything but had to jot down the points that was spoken for the report later....

All in all, it was worth the time, as i met new friends and gained some knowledge in public speaking..can't wait for the 'training' on Thurday night

Some pictures i took at MMU:-

*the 1st building we came across in MMU, just in front of the hall. That my senior Wahid's head

*i found this quote very interesting and useful.

*the main entrance to the grand hall

*thats the hall....so majestic

My sincere apologises

Well, just wanna inform you all that I am having a pause in my uploading my National Service (NS) photos because my laptop doesn't has Photoshop and I am lazy too wait blogger to upload a photo as it'll somehow take an eternity for it to be uploaded plus the photos with me now are all big size, so i am having a pause upon it. Besides, i don't want to edit the size myself in blogger as the end product sucks....just take a look at the previous posts then you'll understand...So,yea, going to have a pause until i get Photoshop.....Any inconviniences are much regretted :p
