I am a little lost.....

Yea, weird for me saying this. I am a bit lost now, searching for the 'me' that is drifting to else where and I am trying to get that 'me' back as soon as possible. You might which 'me' am I talking about now. Well, I am referring to the 'me', back during NS.

That 'me' includes being :-
*quite confident
*quite easily accepted by others
*sporting
*forever willing

I lost some of these things during my stay here in Sunway and gradually turning back into the very, with the capital V, passive and cold Teh Tat Yang. I don't want that, I'd left that heavy shell behind and I don't wanna be inside it anymore. Something within me is changing, at quite a fast rate. The most obvious is my self confidence, being once an emcee and even a 'Ketua Kompeni', I would getting very nervous before an orral presentation....come on, i spoken in front of a crowd the size of 400++ and now a presentation got the better of me. Something definately is wrong somewhere. But, luckilly as for today, i felt a little more of the 'me' in me. I wasn't really nervous about the group presentation (maybe due to the fact that its in a group, i hope not) and was quite ready but just to get our group's presentation postponed. Great huh....now i would need to reset my mental state for tomorrow.

Besides, I am getting very passive recently, during my Junior Leadership's meeting, I hardly spoken, whats wrong with me? Back in camp, I used to lead in my company's meeting and now I am merely listening with not much thought in my mind. Where are you? I really need you back inside me now, I had enough of being a spectator long enough back in high school.

Guess, one song can really help drive me towards getting myself back. Angra's - "Rebirth". Think I'll sing or shout it out with much passion, think that is what i need now, to release what is within me. *sigh*....come back.

Angra - Rebirth

Cooling breeze from a summer day
Hearing echoes from your heart
Learning how to recompose the words
Let time just fly

Joyful sea-gulls roaming on the shore
Not a single note would sound
Raise my hand after i dry my face
Let time just fly

Recalling, retreating
Returning, retrieving
A small talk your missing
More clever but older now

A leader, a learner
A lawful beginner
A lodger of lunacy
So lucid in a jungle
A helper, a sinner
A scarecrow's agonyzing smile

Oh! Minutes go round and round
Inside my head
Oh! My chest will now explode
Falling into pieces
Rain breaks on the ground-blood!

One minute forever
A sinner regretting
My vulgar misery ends

(And I) Ride the winds of a brand new day
High where mountain's stand
Found my hope and pride again
Rebirth of a man

Time to fly.....

End of holidays = start of schooling

Well, the one week long holiday is now behind me. A few things happened during that period of time. As mentioned before, the olympics. Besides, the gathering was finally held!!!! Finally got to meet my friends and met some others who were happened to be there as well. Well, something happened to me that day at Midvalley, more specific, at MPH. If you ever been there, then you might know that they do sale those thingie inside a tape like cover, and no chairs are provided!!! Thats the beginning of disaster, Azizan and I was walking around in MPH and went to check out the language department. While reading the books there, we decided to squat down. Guess what, my ass caught one of the tapes on my way down. Yea, there goes my ass.....but whats worse is it 'gifted' one of my favourite pants an extra little hole T.T....just my luck.

One thing about the gathering worth mentioning is that, the next one wont be at Midvalley anymore....cause, there isn't much to be done there. So, next stop shall be Sunway Pyramid!!!hehe, nearer to my area this time. WOOOT!!!

August 25th, my brother's birthday, but he brought me and his girlfriend out for dinner on the 24th. Had our dinner at UNO Pizza, an Italian restaurant. The food served there are nice, its quite safe to even add a very in front, depending on what you are having. However, the pizza there, are the traditional Italian's type, so, with Pizza Hut around, go for Pizza Hut. BUT, the pasta there are top class. You can consider ordering the 'baked pasta' or even the 'garlic prawn'....*drool*

It was just yesterday, that I finally let out what had been inside me for quite some time. Well, the result was quite clear and higher chance in expecting, but, i stand by the phrase ''you'll never know if you never try". So,yea, i gave it a shot. Everything became clear in the end. Thats at least a major plus. Will keep the details to myself.

Posting

Been kinda lazy lately, updating my blog, but since I'd started this, might as well stick with it i say so that is why I am here, to keep my blog alive. A lot had happened when i was away. Now, i am having my break, its only for a week but before that, we had our interim marks for CIMP. I took three subjects for naturally will get three grades. I got an A for my maths, a even better A for my english but i scored a D!!! yes, a D for my accounting.....but one a brighter note, its out of 18, the total mark where only 1 or 2 marks can determine a totally different grade, i did quite well for all the quizzes but failed to excel on my assignments. I guess that pull me down big time. Gotta work harder from now onwards!!!!

Besides, its our own Lee Chong Wei reaching the finals in the Olympics. Although he lost, quite badly too, but we still support him. It is notable that he was a little more tired compare to Lin Dan after the 3 set battle against the korean. Eventhough the lost was expected by many, but throughout the match, i kept believing for some reason that a miracle may happen but it wasn't meant to be. Very dissapointed after the match but i don't blame him one bit, unlike when Arsenal played a bad match, i'll be screaming :p. It kinda affected my mood though, guess being too passionate isn't all that nice? Just my view....

Well, its better late than never, I'd always held to that principle, but not all approve of my way of running things, but, the long anticipated gathering is finally coming!! WOOT! Its going to be on the 23rd, at Midvalley, around lunch time. Finally, get to see my 'long lost pal' :p, Azizan. Can't wait!!!

Its been a while but I am back

Hey,long time no see :p. Haven't been updating my blog for a while now so i guess will post something here then, since i am quite free now before going into 'homework mode' later tonight. The two major events organized by the student council are finally over and with great success too, we juniors were lucky to witness such big event despite being so 'fresh'. Life is gradually becoming a roller-coaster ride nowadays in my studies, one day everything can seem to go all so well then the next day can just be like hell.

A random photo, wanted to try out my camera (phone's) so i went to do an experiment and the following is the result :-

*not bad eh, never thought it would turn out like this, looks kinda like Harry Potter with his wand casting 'LUMOS'

THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CARNIVAL :- Cultural Night

Yes, the name says it all does it? An event, hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and co-hosted by Sunway University College, where international students are given a chance to shine in their respective field and culture. The event fell on the 8th(olympics) and the 9th of August. On the 8th, was the Sports Carnival, our very own olympics but i have no pictures taken as it was quite a busy day but all was fun =). While, on the 9th, the highlight of this event was as suggested by its title, held at night with the deputy minister and Sunway's Big Boss himself were present so you can start imagining how big it was, and how much hard work to event make this event happen. It was a journey around the world, witnessing people of different culture, proudly showing how they celebrate, from India to Iran to Indonesia to China to Bostwana and even foreigners performing our local dance. In short, you name it, we got it.

Into the ' Gear 2' Phase....

Finally, I'd reach the 'Gear 2' Phase in CIMP, only for my accounting at the moment for the month of August. The work load, assignments, quizzes and test have all increased. Well, for the month of August, I'll have to complete two assignments, sit for a quiz and a test on chapter 1,2 and 3, great huh? Considering that I am still having troubles with my chapter 3. Yet, my lecturer was saying that this month is only the 2nd gear, next month shall be the 4th gear....OMG!!!!! Have to complete more than these which is 'life consuming', the term my friend used...but, there are something to look forward to for this month. Alicia had arrived in KL, so, gonna plan a meeting with Azizan. 2nd, Abbas is coming to town, so another gathering there in the making, maybe will combine the two gatherings into one. 3rd, i got a week of holidays!!!! wooooot!!! from the 18th to the 22th, which also means, any date that the gathering shall be postponed, no problemo!

What a day...

*phew*...Just came out from my BAT4M class, super early today so i just wanna keep my blog from dying, so will write something about today. Had two quizzes today and still have ENG4C class to come, but luckilly no quiz for today. I heard its on Thursday which means its the same day as the MDM quiz...i also had one today for MDM and i did ok, while for BAT, i did pretty well too although i am not very confident with the Part A but Part B i manage to do it correctly as my answer was the same as others =). Two quizzes done and one more class to go and i can relax for the day as there aren't any homework...yet, but will need to do some revision and prepare for BAT tomorrow!!!

Trip to MMU :-

Last Saturday, along with the 'Junior Leadership Programme', i had an outing to Multimedia University(MMU), Cyber Jaya campus. Went to the foyer quite early that morning and the campus was quite empty, only with those i think that are having saturday classes. So i sat down, near Bryan, also in the JLP, which i din't know at that time. He was reading the book of the ways of running a business and being a millioniare while i was indulged in my MP3. Then, Veronica came along and asked whether the both of us are in the JLP, that was how we knew each other and started chatting and gradually, the other members arrived and we all introduced ourselves. It was supposed to be 10 of us, but only 8,including me were present that day.

Kelvin and I - CIMP
Veronica - CAT
Bryan, Cecilia, Sharon - ACCA
John and Jonathan - A Levels

Then as we waited for Ken, we saw Jackson and some other councils and went over, chatted and some bonding. Finally, Ken arrived so did the bus, Sunway doesn't own a bus by the way =.=, and it was a school bus with Taylor's sign in front.....Great huh. We hopped on and off we went to MMU. Ken did some briefing in the bus on the things we need to look out for during the event later and Jackson gave us the 'heads up' that we'll need to prepare a report on the trip.

We, reached MMU rather early so Ken brought us around the campus as he was an ex-student there himself, and we headed to the cafeteria, Ken was obviously very~ hungry as the 1st time he did was filled up his plate while telling us to sit anywhere we like or can go walk around. After that, we continued with the walk and MMU is like a sports arena, two outdoor futsal field, one 8 lane swimming pool, a squash stadium and not to mention a 8 lane running track with a football field...Ouch, thats awesome!!! Then, we went to the majestic hall that was just built not long ago, its like a theater with the VIP section on the 2nd floor and 8 badminton court with more than enough space to fit in 4 more, the stage was gigantic too but the speeches up ahead kills everything but had to jot down the points that was spoken for the report later....

All in all, it was worth the time, as i met new friends and gained some knowledge in public speaking..can't wait for the 'training' on Thurday night

Some pictures i took at MMU:-

*the 1st building we came across in MMU, just in front of the hall. That my senior Wahid's head

*i found this quote very interesting and useful.

*the main entrance to the grand hall

*thats the hall....so majestic

My sincere apologises

Well, just wanna inform you all that I am having a pause in my uploading my National Service (NS) photos because my laptop doesn't has Photoshop and I am lazy too wait blogger to upload a photo as it'll somehow take an eternity for it to be uploaded plus the photos with me now are all big size, so i am having a pause upon it. Besides, i don't want to edit the size myself in blogger as the end product sucks....just take a look at the previous posts then you'll understand...So,yea, going to have a pause until i get Photoshop.....Any inconviniences are much regretted :p

I am in?!

Hey, did i ever mentioned about me going for the 'Junior Leadership Programme' ? Well, if not then now you know. Well, i need to go through an interview session where i was asked to say anything about myself which i am very weak in unless i am being asked about myself then that wont be a problem, well, i think i manage to do 'ok' only....Wasn't very confident of getting into it after the interview but was keeping a positive mindset...

Well, as for today, i got a call from the Student Center. Student Service Department to be exact, asking me to go to the office for a letter for me. Well, it turned out to be my letter of appointment!!! YAY!!!

Well, this is it...My letter of appointment

*See? My name and my signature there, so i am not pulling anyone's leg here

However, in my brief meeting with Jason, my advisor, two bomb shells were dropped....So fast? Turned out that on this coming Saturday, the newly appointed junior leaders are to be send to MMU for something which i can't really remember now, have to be in campus before 8.30, so no late Friday night for me and until around 5 in the evening which is yet to be comfirmed. Furthermore, the other is on the 31th, in which i am going to meet the seniors for the 1st time for what i was told a training session which starts at 5 p.m until 10 p.m....Wow, wonder will i have homework that day? So,yea, my life in Sunway had just changed, hope its a good change! Wish me luck ya?

Something i just don't get it

Its Monday again, just finish my dinner so i decided to post something before i start with my homework...Classes had been a headache for me at times especially accounting but none of that is giving me second thoughts of going to class because as a matter of fact, i am enjoying the classes as i am gaining valuable knowledge for my future and of cause, the classes are interesting...Starting to get a hang of things in accounting, hope the best is yet to come..hehe

Hmm, this is what i faced a lot in camp, what people thinks about is/are,not right...I am not a west Malaysians, i am from the east, in the state of Sarawak, the land of the hornbills. But, when i was in camp, the ones from Semenanjung(WM), will think that i am from that part of Malaysia too. Wanna know why? Because i 'look' like one( O.0 )...Err, u can actually tell where a chinese is from by looking at how he/she looks like? Actually got some truth in it because my dad is from Perak but can you really actually tell just by looking? Worse still, some of the chinese in camp from WM, actually thought i was a Malay? The reason? Because i can speak quite a fluent Malay and i mix around more with the non-chinese when i was in camp...I, am very very sure, that i am a chinese for your infomation.

How about international students thinks? Hmm, what i ever heard was people asking whether am i a Japanese? Great huh....

P/S :- Not being racist at all if that thought happen to cross your mind, those are based on true story, because its my life...

*So, take a pick. A WM chinese? A Japanese? Anymore guesses?

Another week gone by

Soooo, my second week in Sunway under the CIMP programme had just past and guess what...no homework!!! YAY!!! but i do need to do some research though....but i have sources so won't be much of a big fuss. Ah, Friday is the day, the day that i can get out of my hostel for some fresh air at my brother's condominium, its at the 20th floor, thats why the air is fresh..hehe

Nothing to do so i planned ahead of what i can do or should i do....Well, i started working out again and since i can swim for free, i started swimming again...won't wanna end up like Jonathan..hehe...sorry dude, if you're reading this. But you should be proud also, not that I still remember you but you're a motivation for me to work out...haha.. We shall see who is fitter!!!

P/S :- Actually, Jonathan isn't THAT fat of a guy, just that...ermmm.....take me and Bob Indra as point A and B respectively

A---------------midpoint-----Jon-----------B

So, yea, won't even wanna reach the midpoint, i am quite happy with my shape now, just that wanna improve on it...

I am exactly 17 years and 7 months old today...

Ahh, back to college and study...Today was quite a day for me...Woke up earlier this morning because i haven't gotten my MDM book yet, the super expensive one, done with my morning preparation and had breakfast. Off i went to the book store at the cafeteria and.....its out of stock!!!!!! NO!!!!! I went to town to find that particular book but all effort was left in vain during the weekends....my heart dropped to rock bottom when i heard it'll only arrive in two weeks time...So i went to class, feeling a little worried because the lecturer's due date for us to own a textbook begins this week...but, lucky for me, not much happened in class and the textbook wasn't really used (a very close call....phew~)...After MDM, i went straight to the notice to board to find whether the seniors are still selling their books or not and lucky me, i manage to find one who is still selling so, i evetually got it from her for Rm70, not a bad deal if you ask me....So, finally i am done with the books' misery.

*Guess what, those two, the waffle and 'Solai' (what Jonathan likes to call it) biscuit and a homemade cup of milo are my lunch...For some reasons, I don't have the appetite to dig into lunch. So a light one will do just nice. And thats me accounting textbook, my after lunch subject...

*That's me, going to do my accounting homework...I really look miserable with that hair, haven't really recovered from the shave from NS...gonna go get a new one this weekend hopefully

P/S, and did you know that today is 'Wishmaking Day'? Evonne told me this and i just forwarded the message back to her...Hope all your wishes and dreams will come true! Peace!

I am fine, but bored...

Phew, finally my classes for my 1st week had ended. Overall comment, the best is yet to come ( i hope). Today's class ended earlier than the classes from Monday to Thursday as today the classes also started earlier. Hmm, been seeing Shaun around campus recently while before this i never seen him anywhere in campus before. Well, what can i say? He is still like the way i know him in camp but just that now he has more hair...hehe

Its the weekend break and i'll be heading to my brother's place to spend my weekend. What to do untill he arrives? N-O-T-H-I-N-G....great huh? Bored like hell in my room with my laptop as my only companion... T_T

To add fuel into the fire, i can see my favourite theme park from my campus and a few steps away from my hostel, Sunway Lagoon!!! Argh, hard to explain the feeling when you can see it but can't have it....T_T...But i'll go there, just a matter of time. Ever told Ai Shin about it and maybe planning one trip to Sunway Lagoon? Who knows? Might happen. Besides, i can get cheaper tickets to the Lagoon, so, why waste the opportunity? Looking forward to that!!!

*Poor me, can only look at the direction of the Lagoon....Bored.....By the way, my 1st photo after camp. With more hair too.

At Last....

Finally, TYT has arrive in KL!!! hehe, imitating 'The Rock".... Finally, got my internet around last week and been having trouble to post ( i wonder why ), so now i am here, to continue on my tales!!!

Well, my classes had started. 3 subjects for my 1st semester ( 5 months ) and what i am having now is Mathematics of Data Management ( MDM4U ), Financial Accounting Principles ( BAT4M ) and English ( ENG4C ). Actually i wasn't given accounting at 1st and i requested a change which i got, so now what i am doing now is whats i planned to do for my 1st semester so no trouble there... Just recently, i'd change my english to a lower level which is 4C, i was in 4U before this but i found out that going to Lancaster University, i only need a 4C!!!! and i don't think i can do very well in 4U, so just change for my brain's sake. So, all is well in my timetable and i enjoy my lecturers' classes too.

BUT!!!! The books i need to buy cost a fortune...hurt so much just to book a textbook that i'll use for only 5 months, its 158.90 or somewhere along that price for my MDM, and 2nd books are so hard to get from the seniors, most of them sold theirs and when i found the ones selling, half way can lose contact for no reason...Well, at least i settled one expensive stuff which is the calculator need for MDM to analyze graphs....The new ones cost 460!!!! for goodness sake lucky me, i only got my near brand new calculator for 350, not a bad deal if you ask me, at least not 460!!!

Hey guys, from camp or anyone who happen to know me, you know where to find me right? Come visit me ya? I miss you all from camp!!!

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

I guess this is goodbye?

Well folks, i here will be leaving my hometown, Kuching and yes, i was born in Kuching, not Semenanjung....Where will i be heading you may ask? I'll be heading to Sunway University College which also means i'll be at Semenanjung, staying in the campus's hostel for the first four months and after that i will be moving out of course because u never intended to stay in the hostel in the 1st place...I am thinking of taking double Majors in Accounting and Finance but before that, i'll have to get past my foundation year 1st, under the CIMP programme...SO,i guess i wont be coming back for quite some time...Actually feeling a little heavy and same goes to how my mom felt because to her this is different compared then me going to NS as i was going to be back but now, chances are only that i MAY only be back during my holidays. Nonetheless, my parents still supports me going. So, wish me luck ya?
KUCHING!!! Don't forget about me!!!!

2nd Day of KKJ

The 2nd day of the KKJ and i believe it was also the day for the presentation, if i remembered it correctly...Progress were made and we were near the finishing line, whats left was the flag but it was going quite smooth too
*See? The flag is almost done, thanks to the painting crew spearheaded by my good-ol-pal Azizan
Well, whats left was to finalise the people that will take the stage, some final preparation on each person's role then off we went...I regretted in not really stressing the preparation as we kinda messed up during the presentation, all in all, we did ok :)

*Everyone taking their own position for KKJ

*The event begins, the overall emcee Ahmad Nabawie a.k.a Awie

*Who else will take the resposibility of introducing the flag besides the Big Man Jonathan and Emelda?

*Every good things must come to an end, photo taken during the closing of the KKJ

Thanks to KKJ, L3 became more cheerful. Wanna know why? Because my dormates can start showing off how many numbers they got...Well, i got nothing to show as i din got any as i never asked for any....just isn't my style but i still manage to get them later in camp, quite a number too i might add...hehe

Tuesday, June 17, 2008

The 1st real chance for getting to know others....

Well, things in camp were quite ok but just one thing i don't really understood, why must they seperate girls from guys until that extend? Even when we just talk is also a problem for the teachers...What i heard is they don't want any relationship to happen(which did, and quite a number too) and ever got couples who just cant find a proper time and place to do their business...So, come on lar, just talking wont make anyone pregnant of something liddat? Right?

So~~ Finally comes one moment where we could finally get to know each other better, which in includes the girls, by doing the Kontrak Kita Janji (KKJ) where we'll hav to design our own flags, state our mission and vision..stuffs liddat

*Well, like how everything should be done, discussion time...

Well, after some discussion, we all were seperated into various groups, each doing one topic...

*We may not really know each other well, but we kinda click being a team...Thats us practising our cheers...Go To The Top Bravo Bravo!!!

Besides, i got some pictures of some of us working....

*Working throughout the afternoon, i only got this photo...sorry folks

Time sure flies when we're doing something, and the night approaches and the presentation was the next day...but, not much progress really made though, especially the flag..

*Well? See what i mean? But at least the others are making good progress :D

*Well, at least we worked hard and the results are out..However, we worked till the extend of Mickie is half asleep.....just kidding, we just worked hard, thats all.

*Well, we worked hard but we play harder..hehe..Thats me in the background by the way :p

Well folks, i shall continue this KKJ post on another post for the 2nd day..Stay tune Teh's Tale ya?

Friday, June 13, 2008

2nd day!

Yeap! Its the 2nd day in KPS and the final pack from Semenanjung had arrived safely..

*The one in blue is BOB...unshaved

*C.Sham, one of my favourite CB teacher, Peace to you too!

Well, i don't really recall seeing them arriving but they still did, wonder what was i doing that time untill i can't remember....Hmm, never mind, proceed with the photos...
*Thats Nabila, being checked by C.Mona

*Thats Ai Shin, the most special among the girls in camp, and guess what? She is in Bravo too but i do wonder why would she wanna bring along 4 bags with her....thats what she told me folks

And the search of the day goes to.......

*Miki! Also from Bravo...i do wonder, why must some girls bring along soft toys to hug in order to sleep?

Picture time? 1st day in camp...

Well, it was the 18th of March and it was also the day Kumpulan 2, siri 5/2008 begins! Woke up in the morning without much trouble but was feeling heavy because will leave my parents....rechecked my bag(actually alot of times, my habit) and my parents drove me to the Stadium Perpaduan...I thought i may the one of the earlier ones but how wrong could i be? My friend William was already on the bus when i arrived...
So i just get on with my own prosedure and had my documents checked and visited the toilet before boarding the bus..On i board the bus, my parents see me off and eventually, the bus move and my journey begins

*thats the komandan of KPS himself at the stadium.

The journey to KPS was smooth but it was a painful ride for me as my bladder was crying since the 1st quarter of the road covered...T_T

*YEAH!!! The bus im on arriving!

*waiting for luggage and i din hav a happy face on because you-know-why

*Well, after everything was settled, it was time to divide us into different companies. Martin was right in front of me but i never realized...:p

*the Bravo's camp...

We Basically had nothing to do but to sit in the hall and do....nothing, and before you know it, the 1st pack from Semenanjung has arrived!!!

*another Bravo's wirawati, Rebecca. Hmm, the camera loves Bravo's pelatih huh...

*See? The camera does love Bravo's pelatih, thats E-One(sitting in black) and the big man Jonathan(standing in black)

*thats Mickie, looks blur but actually not that bad also...quite a cute character...

*Well, the search of the day!
Still more to come! So stay tune ya? Cause the 2nd day, i got pictures of content of some people's bag...hehe...

A Challenge?

Hey, back for more posts on my blog, haven't been updating cause i wanted to upload lots of pictures from PLKN but for some reasons, it failed....will try again next time ya?

Earlier today, my dad handed me a challenge which i'll try my very best to achieve. The challenge for me was to let him be able to retire in 6 years time..Ok, 6 years, minus my 4 years of studies so im left only with two years to make it big.. Can i do it? I wouldn't know if i never try right? Wish me well!

PLKN part.2

Lets continue shall we? Here we go.....

Life in Camp

Well, since im going to face the interview soon, im doing some homework myself to be ready...One of it was to dig from teachers, at the same time getting closer to them...I still remember how i 1st came to talk to C.Mona, it was due to her phone was playing Vitamin C's - Graduation, so i approached her and ask for the song transfer, then, soon started to talk about things i wanted to ask then eventually ended up chatting, since that day, i got one more person to go to if im in trouble....Before this, C.Mona somehow remembered my name as it was easy to remember and she took a lil notice of me from that....

The Interview

There had been speculation on which day the interview will be held, well i don't remember the date, but it still took place :p...The venue was at the Padang Kawad, the inspectors were the Komandan, TKL, En.Kamson, C.Arrison and C.Zaini...The candidates from Alpha went 1st, came back beaten, stressed-faced. Well i took a chance to ask what were they asked, well....naturally, they din gave a clue. Well, turn out our question was a million miles away..hehe...Well, it went quite well for me and i left feeling a little confident that i'll at least get a post....

The Moment of Truth

Well, finally the day the official Rank Holders results are out, so the results was to be announced in the late afternoon as we also need to do a rehearsal for the night as the comandan will be there too...Soon, names were announced by the TKL,all by his memories as he forgot to bring his notes.....Alpha's was announced first, then comes the moment of truth, the Ketua Kompeni Bravo post, actually at that time, i wasn't feeling as confident as i felt after the interview..In the end, my name was announced, i breathed a sigh of relief and walk up front and do my usual 'Berhenti' routine, but TKL couldn't remember who was the Ketua Platun Wira Bravo, eventually he did after everyone else was announced and it turned out to be Quairul Izwan...

Here is the list of Rank Holders :-

Ketua Pelatih - Martin Tan Tee Ling
Timbalan Ketua Pelatih - Don Hazim (wira) and Mastika (wirawati)

Ketua Kompeni Alpha - Dzul

Life After 'Balaks'

Well, the night i got 'promoted', i got greeted by mostly people from my company. So, being polite, i smile back and greeted back but as time goes on, some reach the extend to stop and give me a salute(hormat ke hadapan) in which i always ask them to stop and no need for that. For some who knows me and close to me, they will say i can be cocky, well, my explanation to that is that im only cocky with my gaming gang. As a matter of fact, i prefer a lower profile which my personality of being shy and quiet around people i don't really know and getting post isn't to show that i am a control-freak but just a simple reason of 'I-wanna-learn'....Well, since that, the i'd gotten closer to the Bravo's girls and they slowly accepted me and we made friends....yay ^^Y

PLKN part.1

Hey guys, its me again...haha...Ok, as promised, im going to write about my life in PLKN, in this post, just write as my photo collection still isn't complete yet...sorry...

1st Day

Well,1st day arriving at KPS( Kem Putra Sentosa), wore my St.Thomas's prefect red t-shirt and meet up with my school mates, William and Adam, and got out luggage checked and things are confiscated but luckilly our hand phone isn't(YAY!!!). The ones in camp at that time are all from Kuching and when we all arrived, we were asked to go down to the Padang Kawad to divide us into different companies mainly - A-Alpha, B-Bravo, C-Charlie and D-Delta, i ended up in Bravo with my school mate Adam while William ended up in Charlie..

Exploring

After that, we were brought to our dorms, everything were still new so i was kinda like a kid in a candy store but the walk to the Wira's(guys) dorms is quite far till my shoulder were crying under the weight of my luggage. Finally, the journey ended and i was places into L3 with a bunch of scary looking guys which turns out to a bunch of very nice guys in the end. Then,we were asked to put down our belongings and return to the hall for.....yes.....the hair cut.......

A New Giant Step

The rest of the day and days past without much incident, when the 1st actual Kekuatan was taken, its was time to elect a leader, people who has past experience were given priority, so, me being a newbie to this, wasn't considered until i volunteered, say anything you want but i wanna learn and take new challenges. My 1st try out was a nightmare, i was asked to face the lake and shout.....well, for those who knows me, my voice isn't THAT loud, so, i just gave it my all....the weird thing is, my legs kept on shaking...i still wonder why until nw...well, my voice actually meet the requirements bt the thing is i shout using my throat, not with my diaphram but still the volume was louder than some.. With me volunteering, allowed me to learn marching more than others as we were given extra lessons by the teachers to get ready for the interview, thats one thing to handle, the other is learning to give command, i sucked at it big time that time but i never gave up(thanks to my athlete training)...

ELECTED

Well, every night, there will be a roll call to ensure everyone is around...So, of course, here is where the leaders come into play, the chosen few were asked to stand in front, Cikgu Shafie, was the one choosing for Wira in Bravo. Well, at that time, i wasn't expecting much cause of the performances throughout the trainings-shaking legs and poor conducting ability BUT of all people, he chose me...and its the Ketua Kompeni post which left me shell shocked. So, i was made Ketua Kompeni Sementara, Don was Ketua Platun Wira and Aqilah was Ketua Platun Wirawati(Wwati)....Before anything started, i was already shaking in front(for your info, i was an emcee during my school days so i thought i could handle it, but i was wrong, i still shook)...and the incident which made me a laughing stock of the camp, the way i command... Kompeni, Kompeni Sedia! was the command, i gave it.....some laughed, which lowered my confidence even more cause it turned out to be that the way i gave the command was - Kompeniii, Kompeniii Sedia!, which also now, i still don't understand how...

Stressed Out

Well, with my one of a kind commanding, i was imitated by many, the worse of all, got laughed by the whole hall due to that...thanks to Cikgu Wahid who pointed that out during roll call and said i was a Japanese Army...i was given names like that too in the later days...being laughed really crushed my confidence but one of my company teacher, Cikgu Mona stood up and asked the hall to keep quiet and don't laugh. In my dorm, thanks to my wonderful friends there as they din't imitate me or anything like that which made me feel better. I was in a dilemma then whether or not to approach C.Piee(Shafie) for help as it was quite late and he was a fierce and seemed to be uncaring type of person...but it turned out that i could not had been more wrong. He answered my knock on the door, i told him my probs and he corrected me then asked me whats wrong, i told him that i was laughed and my tears was already coming down and i broke down, he din't say much but one thing i remember until now is that he said do not give up so easilly...then i left, back to my dorm... Just because of this case, i respected him the most in camp and turned to him everytime i have problems and yes, each time he helped...

Happy Mother's Day

Every 2nd week of the month of May, its a very special day for all mothers, a day in which is dedicated to them, its Mother's Day on the 11/5/2008!!!

My family actually celebrated on the 10th,to avoid a packed restaurant. We went to my friend's(Lionel Poh) aunt's place- Chef At Home at Hui Sing Garden...a very nice place to enjoy western food which i'll like to introduce to you all...I had mixed grill, my mom, the spotlight last night had Teriyaki Chicken and my dad had a Grilled Chicken Chop in which we all enjoyed very much!

But, we don have to wait till mother's day or father's day to show our love to our parents!!!! We must practise is on a daily basis!!! Im working on it after i realized how important my parents are after my time in NS!! So, love our own parents everyday as if its the last day of your life!! Remember, they'll be the 1st ones to jump in the way to block a bullet aim straight at you!

Im Back!!!

Hey guys, been away to NS and now im back, for good... I used my qualification to F6 to get me out of camp...i have my own reasons in doing so...i promise i'll write about NS, all the good time i had there soon!!!!

Really miss all my friends!!!

Spending quality time in my room...

Hmm, what would a guy like me do when i am feeling bored? Going all out on my guitar of course in my room!!!..haha..don't let the title fool you..haha..so i moved all the equipments needed like guitar(if not how to play...), the amplifier, cables and my multi-effect all up to my room, made a few trips up and down actually...and not to forget, borrowing my dad's phone to take some photos as my phone's camera is err....speechless...haha

Started of with some warming up exercise for my fingers then up up and away!!!

First up, i started playing one of my favourites - 'Canon in D'...and yes, i can play it,still polishing it though because will still have mistakes here and there, as the saying goes, practise makes perfect so i hope can master the whole song after i am out of camp later in June..

*me playing Canon in D, 1st take, a little more intense for me to cope as i haven played for some time..haha...

But after a few rounds, i got some of my touch back, still not smooth but better than have to really work...

*ahh, must better...

But i just wonder, after some many times i practise my guitar standing up, its still kinda hard for me to play so eventually, my arm can't stand playing for long with that much speed, so i just continue with songs which the strumming part is more compared to plucking...

*strum,strum and it nvr stops...

After an hour plus of jamming, practising is the better word here as my skills still sucks...haha...To wrap it all up, i practise some, hmm, how to say...skills that i normally call 'show off'?haha

*for example - tapping, the easiest of all, the only one skill i can perform at the moment :p

Before keeping all my equipments back, i'll do what i always do...make noise

*'punishing' the whammy bar...haha

better late than never...

Well, for all who knows me out there, they'll know that i am an Arsenal FC fan, and i would like to write this post as history was made at the San Siro in Milan, Italy as Arsenal FC was the first to beat AC Milan at their home ground with a wonder goal(some who call it CRACKER) by Cesc Fabregas and the second by Emmanuel Adebayor which put the game to bed...the game ended 0-2 and Arsenal through to the last 8...After overcoming the champions of Europe, i dare to dream that Arsenal FC can make it all the way although dreaming doesn't mean i am confident, but i hope they can and even possible on the way to a double as they are still the leaders of the Barclays Premier League after all the problems they had... I do hope the Arsenal FC's hitman, Adebayor whose streak of goals ended with Milan can restart from Milan as well and with dutch hitman, Robin van Persie, back from a long spell on the sideline due to injury, chances are increasing at the moment...

P/S : To the injured Eduardo, do hope for a speedy recovery on your horrific broken leg and be back in the line-up scoring once again...

Done some digging recently....

Finally, my letter from NS(National Service) has finally arrived! Can't wait for the 18th of March, really looking forward for it!

Since getting into the mood of NS recently and now recieved the letter so its official and i don some cleaning and tidying. I started of with my cabinet of CDs and,oh,did i mentioned all my CDs are original?haha...for real, not joking. As i was tidying, i dug up my precious Ayumi Hamasaki's collection and decided to play them with my home theater, because the bass is better then my computer's... Really enjoyed it and i sang along as the songs are played, and oh yes, i can sing japanese although not fully understanding what is coming out of my mouth, but music has no boundaries,so like i care, as long as its nice... A few of my good buddies who ever been to my house may ever witness me singing in japanese and looked at me as if i am wrong somewhere BUT even a good friend of mine, a malay, Nazrin, can sing Kuang Liang's - Tung Hua...but people find him good but i am weird? O_o....

*thats nazrin and me during our school's EAC
Okok, about me saying my CDs were all original, you might find me bluffing by add the ALL in front but just let me prove it to you lor... The 1st 3 Ayumi's album i don't have cause the songs there aren't really that nice YET(i admit) haha....here goes

*her 1st complilation - A Best

*her fourth album - I am...

*2nd complilation - A Ballads

*5th - My Story(my likings for her grew from this album)

*6th - (miss)Understood

*7th - Secret

*her latest complilation - Black and white
So now believe me? ALL original...haha
