What a day...

*phew*...Just came out from my BAT4M class, super early today so i just wanna keep my blog from dying, so will write something about today. Had two quizzes today and still have ENG4C class to come, but luckilly no quiz for today. I heard its on Thursday which means its the same day as the MDM quiz...i also had one today for MDM and i did ok, while for BAT, i did pretty well too although i am not very confident with the Part A but Part B i manage to do it correctly as my answer was the same as others =). Two quizzes done and one more class to go and i can relax for the day as there aren't any homework...yet, but will need to do some revision and prepare for BAT tomorrow!!!

Trip to MMU :-

Last Saturday, along with the 'Junior Leadership Programme', i had an outing to Multimedia University(MMU), Cyber Jaya campus. Went to the foyer quite early that morning and the campus was quite empty, only with those i think that are having saturday classes. So i sat down, near Bryan, also in the JLP, which i din't know at that time. He was reading the book of the ways of running a business and being a millioniare while i was indulged in my MP3. Then, Veronica came along and asked whether the both of us are in the JLP, that was how we knew each other and started chatting and gradually, the other members arrived and we all introduced ourselves. It was supposed to be 10 of us, but only 8,including me were present that day.

Kelvin and I - CIMP
Veronica - CAT
Bryan, Cecilia, Sharon - ACCA
John and Jonathan - A Levels

Then as we waited for Ken, we saw Jackson and some other councils and went over, chatted and some bonding. Finally, Ken arrived so did the bus, Sunway doesn't own a bus by the way =.=, and it was a school bus with Taylor's sign in front.....Great huh. We hopped on and off we went to MMU. Ken did some briefing in the bus on the things we need to look out for during the event later and Jackson gave us the 'heads up' that we'll need to prepare a report on the trip.

We, reached MMU rather early so Ken brought us around the campus as he was an ex-student there himself, and we headed to the cafeteria, Ken was obviously very~ hungry as the 1st time he did was filled up his plate while telling us to sit anywhere we like or can go walk around. After that, we continued with the walk and MMU is like a sports arena, two outdoor futsal field, one 8 lane swimming pool, a squash stadium and not to mention a 8 lane running track with a football field...Ouch, thats awesome!!! Then, we went to the majestic hall that was just built not long ago, its like a theater with the VIP section on the 2nd floor and 8 badminton court with more than enough space to fit in 4 more, the stage was gigantic too but the speeches up ahead kills everything but had to jot down the points that was spoken for the report later....

All in all, it was worth the time, as i met new friends and gained some knowledge in public speaking..can't wait for the 'training' on Thurday night

Some pictures i took at MMU:-

*the 1st building we came across in MMU, just in front of the hall. That my senior Wahid's head

*i found this quote very interesting and useful.

My sincere apologises

Well, just wanna inform you all that I am having a pause in my uploading my National Service (NS) photos because my laptop doesn't has Photoshop and I am lazy too wait blogger to upload a photo as it'll somehow take an eternity for it to be uploaded plus the photos with me now are all big size, so i am having a pause upon it. Besides, i don't want to edit the size myself in blogger as the end product sucks....just take a look at the previous posts then you'll understand...So,yea, going to have a pause until i get Photoshop.....Any inconviniences are much regretted :p

I am in?!

Hey, did i ever mentioned about me going for the 'Junior Leadership Programme' ? Well, if not then now you know. Well, i need to go through an interview session where i was asked to say anything about myself which i am very weak in unless i am being asked about myself then that wont be a problem, well, i think i manage to do 'ok' only....Wasn't very confident of getting into it after the interview but was keeping a positive mindset...

Well, as for today, i got a call from the Student Center. Student Service Department to be exact, asking me to go to the office for a letter for me. Well, it turned out to be my letter of appointment!!! YAY!!!

Well, this is it...My letter of appointment

*See? My name and my signature there, so i am not pulling anyone's leg here

However, in my brief meeting with Jason, my advisor, two bomb shells were dropped....So fast? Turned out that on this coming Saturday, the newly appointed junior leaders are to be send to MMU for something which i can't really remember now, have to be in campus before 8.30, so no late Friday night for me and until around 5 in the evening which is yet to be comfirmed. Furthermore, the other is on the 31th, in which i am going to meet the seniors for the 1st time for what i was told a training session which starts at 5 p.m until 10 p.m....Wow, wonder will i have homework that day? So,yea, my life in Sunway had just changed, hope its a good change! Wish me luck ya?

Something i just don't get it

Its Monday again, just finish my dinner so i decided to post something before i start with my homework...Classes had been a headache for me at times especially accounting but none of that is giving me second thoughts of going to class because as a matter of fact, i am enjoying the classes as i am gaining valuable knowledge for my future and of cause, the classes are interesting...Starting to get a hang of things in accounting, hope the best is yet to come..hehe

Hmm, this is what i faced a lot in camp, what people thinks about is/are,not right...I am not a west Malaysians, i am from the east, in the state of Sarawak, the land of the hornbills. But, when i was in camp, the ones from Semenanjung(WM), will think that i am from that part of Malaysia too. Wanna know why? Because i 'look' like one( O.0 )...Err, u can actually tell where a chinese is from by looking at how he/she looks like? Actually got some truth in it because my dad is from Perak but can you really actually tell just by looking? Worse still, some of the chinese in camp from WM, actually thought i was a Malay? The reason? Because i can speak quite a fluent Malay and i mix around more with the non-chinese when i was in camp...I, am very very sure, that i am a chinese for your infomation.

How about international students thinks? Hmm, what i ever heard was people asking whether am i a Japanese? Great huh....

P/S :- Not being racist at all if that thought happen to cross your mind, those are based on true story, because its my life...

*So, take a pick. A WM chinese? A Japanese? Anymore guesses?

Ah, Friday is the day, the day that i can get out of my hostel for some fresh air at my brother's condominium, its at the 20th floor, thats why the air is fresh..hehe

Nothing to do so i planned ahead of what i can do or should i do....Well, i started working out again and since i can swim for free, i started swimming again...won't wanna end up like Jonathan..hehe...sorry dude, if you're reading this. But you should be proud also, not that I still remember you but you're a motivation for me to work out...haha.. We shall see who is fitter!!!

P/S :- Actually, Jonathan isn't THAT fat of a guy, just that...ermmm.....take me and Bob Indra as point A and B respectively

A---------------midpoint-----Jon-----------B

So, yea, won't even wanna reach the midpoint, i am quite happy with my shape now, just that wanna improve on it...

I am exactly 17 years and 7 months old today...

Ahh, back to college and study...Today was quite a day for me...Woke up earlier this morning because i haven't gotten my MDM book yet, the super expensive one, done with my morning preparation and had breakfast. Off i went to the book store at the cafeteria and.....its out of stock!!!!!! NO!!!!! I went to town to find that particular book but all effort was left in vain during the weekends....my heart dropped to rock bottom when i heard it'll only arrive in two weeks time...So i went to class, feeling a little worried because the lecturer's due date for us to own a textbook begins this week...but, lucky for me, not much happened in class and the textbook wasn't really used (a very close call....phew~)...After MDM, i went straight to the notice to board to find whether the seniors are still selling their books or not and lucky me, i manage to find one who is still selling so, i evetually got it from her for Rm70, not a bad deal if you ask me....So, finally i am done with the books' misery.

*Guess what, those two, the waffle and 'Solai' (what Jonathan likes to call it) biscuit and a homemade cup of milo are my lunch...For some reasons, I don't have the appetite to dig into lunch. So a light one will do just nice. And thats me accounting textbook, my after lunch subject...

*That's me, going to do my accounting homework...I really look miserable with that hair, haven't really recovered from the shave from NS...gonna go get a new one this weekend hopefully

P/S, and did you know that today is 'Wishmaking Day'? Evonne told me this and i just forwarded the message back to her...Hope all your wishes and dreams will come true! Peace!

I am fine, but bored...

Phew, finally my classes for my 1st week had ended. Overall comment, the best is yet to come ( i hope). Today's class ended earlier than the classes from Monday to Thursday as today the classes also started earlier. Hmm, been seeing Shaun around campus recently while before this i never seen him anywhere in campus before. Well, what can i say? He is still like the way i know him in camp but just that now he has more hair...hehe

Its the weekend break and i'll be heading to my brother's place to spend my weekend. What to do untill he arrives? N-O-T-H-I-N-G....great huh? Bored like hell in my room with my laptop as my only companion... T_T

To add fuel into the fire, i can see my favourite theme park from my campus and a few steps away from my hostel, Sunway Lagoon!!! Argh, hard to explain the feeling when you can see it but can't have it....T_T...But i'll go there, just a matter of time. Ever told Ai Shin about it and maybe planning one trip to Sunway Lagoon? Who knows? Might happen. Besides, i can get cheaper tickets to the Lagoon, so, why waste the opportunity? Looking forward to that!!!

*Poor me, can only look at the direction of the Lagoon....Bored.....By the way, my 1st photo after camp. With more hair too.

At Last....

Finally, TYT has arrive in KL!!! hehe, imitating 'The Rock".... Finally, got my internet around last week and been having trouble to post ( i wonder why ), so now i am here, to continue on my tales!!!

Well, my classes had started. 3 subjects for my 1st semester ( 5 months ) and what i am having now is Mathematics of Data Management ( MDM4U ), Financial Accounting Principles ( BAT4M ) and English ( ENG4C ). Actually i wasn't given accounting at 1st and i requested a change which i got, so now what i am doing now is whats i planned to do for my 1st semester so no trouble there... Just recently, i'd change my english to a lower level which is 4C, i was in 4U before this but i found out that going to Lancaster University, i only need a 4C!!!! and i don't think i can do very well in 4U, so just change for my brain's sake. So, all is well in my timetable and i enjoy my lecturers' classes too.

BUT!!!! The books i need to buy cost a fortune...hurt so much just to book a textbook that i'll use for only 5 months, its 158.90 or somewhere along that price for my MDM, and 2nd books are so hard to get from the seniors, most of them sold theirs and when i found the ones selling, half way can lose contact for no reason...Well, at least i settled one expensive stuff which is the calculator need for MDM to analyze graphs....The new ones cost 460!!!! for goodness sake lucky me, i only got my near brand new calculator for 350, not a bad deal if you ask me, at least not 460!!!

Hey guys, from camp or anyone who happen to know me, you know where to find me right? Come visit me ya? I miss you all from camp!!!
